Schedule of Rates

Civil Status Conference, CMC, OSC, and similar civil case routine matters; Criminal Arraignment/Pretrial:

$75.00 statewide flat fee ($100 El Centro and Redwood City); hourly if exceeds one hour.
$50.00 additional charge if the order is placed the court day before or the day of the appearance.

Depositions, Motions, Claim of Exemption, Relief from Stay, Minor's Comp, Family Law, Probate, Immigration Matters:

$65.00/hour with a two-hour minimum.

Judgment Debtor Exam (OEX), Bankruptcy Harings (SC, 341 A, and Confirmation):

$125.00
$75.00 if the debtor fails to appear, unless court time is excessive.

Advocacy Proceedings (UD Trial, Traffic Trial, Civil Trial, Arbitration, Mediation, MSC, VSC, Taking Depositions):

$75.00/hour with a two-hour minimum.

Additional Charges

Parking, telephone, fax, and copy charges incurred by our attorneys, if applicable, will be added to the above rates.

There are a few obscure or hard-to-reach courts which require an extra fee for travel time for our attorney. Also, some appearances (often criminal or family law) require an hourly rate to cover the time our attorneys are in court, waiting for your case to be called. In addition, there are a few judges who do not allow special appearances, and others who require association of counsel. Be sure to ask if you think you have an appearance in one of these courts.
